Gavin's family has always dealt with the strange and unexplainable. They call it their family curse, though Gavin thinks it's more of a blessing. His Family has the ability to see the dead and feel the presence of ghostly creatures. For years, Gavin's grandmother has been haunted by a tricky, clever demon that causes chaos in their lives and in one or two occasions has attempted to bring her to the plane of the dead.
